Ever since O.P.I came out with the Skyfall limited edition nail polish series, my favorite was the gold leaf top coat “The Man With The Golden Gun”. During that time, it suddenly became very hard to actually find that top coat in the market and whatever I could find on Ebay or amazon was ~ $50-60 for one bottle of the gold leaf top coat. I decided to wait for a better option to come along. I had checked for the 18k gold top coat that Zoya markets in a hope to be able to own one but I never found it listed on their website. All I could ever find was the marketing picture of that top coat and never the product.
I was at Sephora the other day looking for cuticle removers and found this one named Sephora by OPI Exfoliating Cuticle Treatment. I had to write a review.
1. Most importantly it does its job. Just apply it onto your cuticles and massage for 30 seconds. You will see them clean and gone and your nails will feel manicured.
2. It smells great.
I know it’s not valentines day just yet but it was too hard to keep myself away from all the pinks. Couldn’t stop myself from creating a valentines day design when I had all my pink shades around me. Just started to paint my nails with different design with pink incorporated on all the nails. Hearts, dots, slanting stripes and lines all in one manicure. Happy early valentines day everyone. Lets celebrate love…

This nail art was inspired by the latest M.A.C Cosmetics banner that I caught a glimpse of at the mall. “Outlined Pearl” is a simple manicure with a pearl white base which is then bordered with a black striper. Start by applying a base coat. The paint all your nails a pearl white. I used REVLON’s Pure Pearl (#020). Let it dry. Using a black striper, border your nails from all sides. Finish the look with a top coat. I used the fast drying top coat by Seche Vite. You can also try this nail art with a matte white instead of a pearl white.
Black striper from Sally’s Beauty Supply.

This nail polish also has micro fine silver glitter suspended throughout. All glitter are solvent resistant. This nail polish is 3-Free. The photo shows a 15ml full size bottle. Base coat: OPI, Top coat: 2 layers of Seche Vite fast drying top coat.
Inspired by Lynnderella Connect The Dots.
Moonlight is a hand made, custom blended franken nail polish filled with blue and teal microfine glitter, blue and teal small hexes and teal bar strand glitter together with some holographic moon glitter in a clear glamour base. The pictures show 3 coats of Moonlight over an OPI base coat with fast drying top coat Seche Vite.
Cupcake’d is a handmade, custom-blended franken glitter nailpolish with matte blue, pink, green and purple glitters of various shapes (square, hexes) and sizes released in a milky white base. This manicure gives a jelly sandwich look. This indie nailpolish is so tempting, it looks like a cupcake decorated with colored sprinkles. I used my favorite top coat to seal the look: Seche Vite.
Since the time i was little i have loved art, color and paintings. I love decorating my nails with even the simplest of design. Today, I decided to paint my nails with a pattern that came to my mind at that very instance. So I grabbed a couple of my polishes 1. Mint Sorbet by Sally Hansen and 2. A beautiful purple color by finger nails and ended up with a free hand design with the use of some nail art brushes and a white and a silver striper. Don’t you love this manicure?
I started off with my OPI base coat and then painted all my nails 3 coats of purple. Wait between coats for each of them to dry. Then use a white and a silver striper and draw vertical parallel lines on the right of the nail. Then with Mint Sorbet, draw some leaves on the left of the lines. Top it off with a fast drying top coat. I used Seche Vite.
A Starry Sky it a blue shaded ombre, gradient nail art design. Start with a lighter shade of blue on the base and then work with more darker shades with a makeup sponge. Base: Lighter shade of blue, Next: One shade darker blue. Third gradient color i used is purple and the last one on and around the tip of the nail is a navy shimmery blue. I then coated the tip with holo glitter to get the starry effect. I used seche vite fast drying top coat. I highly recommend using that top coat if you are not already using it. It dries in less then a minute and thus prevents any smudging from impatience.
